Sharing Pebbles of Joy!!

My first book “Pebbles in the Pond” is coming out on May 20th and…I worked with Christine Kloser to get it done. At this time last year, I was sitting where you are; I was sitting on my story. With her help and inspiration, I am now a published author.

In connecting with Christine, I’ve met amazing people, dreamed bigger dreams and I want you in the Pond with me. Together, we can transform our lives, the lives of those we love, and the lives of those we touch. Please join me.

I want you to share your message, write your book, and launch your Individualized Empowerment Plan (IEP). (Finally, an IEP for Me!)

There’s a massive transformational event happening next week that is helping thousands of aspiring authors transform the world… through the power of the written word!

==> Check it out here!

If you have you ever wanted to write, publish and market a life-changing book, you’ve got to see what my friend, Christine Kloser is up to! Thousands of people are already on board for this program (it starts on Monday), so you still have time to register and listen to ALL of the classes!

You’ll discover the 7-step system to transform your book “idea” into a published book – and a thriving business that impacts the world… and it won’t cost you a penny.

This is a rare opportunity to learn writing and publishing secrets from the world’s top authors and experts…

  • Neale Donald Walsh – Author of “Conversations with God”
  • Arielle Ford – Author of “The Soulmate Secret”
  • Lisa Nichols – Author of “No Matter What”
  • Barbara Marx Hubbard – Author of “Conscious Evolution”
  • Reid Tracy – President and CEO of Hay House
  • Marc Allen – Publisher of Eckhart Tolle’s “Power of Now”
  • Bill Gladstone – Literary Agent for Eckhart Tolle and Neale Donald Walsch
  • Dan Poynter – Author and Self-Publishing Expert
  • Sandy Powell – President of Hay House’s Balboa Press
  • And many more!

Get the details …

==> Here!

PLUS:

When you register, you’ll also discover how you can enter the Transformational Author Writing Contest and perhaps BE the next great transformational author! (I entered and won one of the 29 wonderful prizes last year! In the last year, I have participated in Christine’s Mastermind group and it has been awe-inspiring and transformational to say the least!)

You could win…

* Guaranteed agency representation by Bill Gladstone (Eckhart Tolle and Neale Donald Walsch’s agent)…

* Personal review of your book proposal (and consideration for a traditional publishing contract) by Marc Allen, President and Publisher of New World Library…

* Publishing packages with Hay House’s Balboa Press…

* And much more!

So, if you’ve ever wondered how YOUR idea can become the next great transformational book…

If you love the thought of getting your book proposal hand-delivered to the publisher who made Eckhart Tolle famous…

Or felt frustrated you’re not impacting more people and making more money as an author (or soon-to-be author)…

This program may be the answer to your prayers!

I hope you’ll see the miracle of this invitation showing up in YOUR inbox today.

And, I trust you’ll accept this gift and choose to pursue your dream of becoming a successful, transformational author (and entrepreneur).

Everything you need to know is in this program, and it’s FR*EE… so you have nothing to lose and your DREAM to gain!

===> Your Dream Can Be Realized Here!

I look forward to “seeing” you there!

To your success and with my appreciation,

Doreen

The Doors are Open “An IEP for Me! Coaching Circle

We just opened the doors to “An IEP for Me!” Coaching Circle.

Check it out here - An IEP for Me!

For the last few weeks, my mind has been going a 100 miles an hour as I think about what it really means to have your own Personal Empowerment Plan.

If you remember Sandra and I shared the idea of “An IEP for Me!” After it became clear to us that:

You are concerned about your future and your child’s future too;

  • You are concerned that your child is not prepared for the transitions ahead;
  • You are exhausted, frustrated and immobilized;
  • You wonder if this is just another transition or a never ending road;
  • You are losing your hopes, your dreams and your determination to move forward

…and the list goes on.

For years we have been on a mission to empower Special Needs Families and to help them live better lives.

We want all Special Needs Families to have Villages that offer them excellent resources, information and support – their own Oasis of Hope.

There are too many exhausted, frustrated and burned out parents, advocates and caregivers. We know we can’t fulfill our mission on our own and we know there isn’t enough time to do individual coaching (plus there is a benefit to sharing with a like-minded community).

THE SNEAK PEEK: A Major “An IEP for Me!” Group Coaching Program Announcement

For the last few weeks, my mind has been going a 100 miles an hour as I think about what it really means to have your own Personal Empowerment Plan.

If you remember Sandra, Tara and I shared the idea of “An IEP for Me!” After it became clear to us that:

  • You are concerned about your future and your child’s future too;
  • You are concerned that your child is not prepared for the transitions ahead;
  • You are exhausted, frustrated and immobilized;
  • You wonder if this is just another transition or a never ending road;

Here’s Where We’re At…

Although “An IEP for Me!” is not ready for a large public launch, the pre-launch version of the program will soon be going live.

When the training program stores OFFICIALLY open, we want to have all the kinks worked out.

We want to ensure that our online program has been carefully crafted from the ground up to meet your needs, and that our online environment works without a hitch, that the conference call service we use meets any needs that might crop up. And on and on and on.

And so we are offering an initial limited group of 30 people to join us in the inaugural “An IEP for Me!” Group Coaching Program for 50% off the price.

Here’s the trade-off…

As members of the first coaching program, we’ll want extra feedback and participation from you. We want you to give us lots of input on the content and how it is delivered (live versus recorded for example), what content you would like us to spend more or less time on, and let us know as soon as possible if there’s online technological problem (and then be patient with us as we work to get it fixed quickly).

As part of the “First 30″, we’ll want your thoughts on our online environment, we’ll want you to heavily use the Facebook group and fill it with case studies, we’ll want you to fill out 2 to 3 additional surveys, and serve in an advisory role by becoming members of a virtual advisory “focus group” to help this program be the very best it can be.

Oh yeah, you will also get special “First 30″ status, which will come with its own perks, like discount on future products, classes and seminars.

Finally, if we’re going to give you 50% off, you need to be completely committed to creating your own Individualized Empowerment Plan.

What we’ll cover in the “An IEP for Me!” Group Coaching Program.

We will describe in more detail on April 9th, but we wanted to give you an overall picture of what the program entails.

We plan to give Moms of Young Adults with Special Needs what we have needed most throughout the years:

  • Appreciation;
  • A Circle of Support;
  • Stress Reducing Activities; and
  • Resources for Refueling.

From personal experience, I know Mom feels especially vulnerable and isolated as her child with special needs approaches adulthood. As she watches her child approach graduation without clearly defined goals, she begins to panic. She watches in horror, as the supports she has used to structure her young adults day, fall away. Upon graduation, this Mom sees her child struggle to fill his days and this breaks her heart. This Mom feels as if she is traveling alone through a desert with the weight of her young adult firmly on her back and clenching tightly to her neck. This mom is thirsty for hope and support. She is stressed and tired. I have wandered this desert and I have found an oasis and I wish to share it with you.

Parents, Educators and Advocates, all seek to prepare our youth with special needs for self-sustaining jobs and independent living. This is complex undertaking and requires planning and collaboration. It is a daunting task and not a job that can be done in isolation. It is a job that requires initiative, persistence, concentrated effort, networking, and teamwork!

Benefits from participating in An IEP for Me Group Coaching Program

  • It will help you form a team of support for this transition and for all the transitions to come;
  • It will put you on firm footing as you confront the myriad of responsibilities you face as a parent, educator or advocate of students with different abilities; and
  • You will be given an opportunity to acknowledge your abilities, to affirm your values, and to validate your goals.

This Group Coaching Program will be available to you via internet or phone. You will be able to listen to calls live or in a replay mode at your convenience.  You will be able to bounce ideas off Sandra, Tara and me and others in our Coaching Circle.  You will get the guidance and support you need in a way that works best for you.

Each week, you will get a:

  • 50 minute audio class;
  • Implementation exercises;
  • E-mail access to your coach;
  • Private Facebook Group

* Bi-weekly Group Coaching Calls

We’ll work on:

  • What is Keeping you Awake at Night
  • Challenges in your job, in your life, or in your relationships
  • Current and Future transitions for you and your child
  • Discovering your dreams, passions and purpose
  • Finding positive support and resources
  • Connecting with your values and strength
  • Gaining clarity, collaboration and support for your direction and actions

If you wish to be re-energized, refueled and refreshed … if you wish to launch your Individualized Empowerment Plan and be the Role Model you were meant to be, Finally, An IEP for ME, A Group Coaching Program for Parents, Special Educators and Advocates, may be just what you need to connect with your power and fellow travelers.

Perhaps, April 2012 can represent a new beginning for you and the ones you love….

A Heart-to-Heart Conversation ~ “An IEP for Me!” Group Coaching Program

(Note #1: I HIGHLY recommend that you carefully read ALL of this.)

(Note #2: This post isn’t a “public post” and I really don’t want the rest of the Internet to see this. So I’d be super grateful and relieved if you didn’t share this post on Twitter or your blog or Facebook.” Thanks

I’m hoping you have time today for a heart-to-heart conversation. I think it’s time. In fact, it might be overdue.

I’m talking about a GOOD heart-to-heart (NOT the kind of heart-to-heart people have before they breakup or something… This is the opposite of that kind of conversation).

Something great has been brewing (but brewing nonetheless)

Sandra, Tara and I have been working with Moms, Special Educators and Advocates for several years now…

And even though we’ve been asked to do a group coaching program that would enable the participants to create their own Individualized Empowerment Plans, we haven’t done it yet.

We’ve been hesitant for a while.

We were concerned that we didn’t have time or that there wasn’t enough need or dozens of other insignificant excuses.

But each of us kept hearing that you needed more.

We heard that you needed an Oasis of Hope and Support…

And that was why a few weeks ago I asked you if you would be interested in participating in something that would go deeper than just comments on our blogs.  And Tara and Sandra asked their villages too.

And (lo and behold) between email, blog comments, etc. We’ve received a ton of responses from people all over the country!

Every time we’ve written a blog post about possibly creating “An IEP for Me!” Coaching Program we have received extremely positive responses.

We thought we were dreaming, we really didn’t anticipate responses like these.

But what surprised me the most was how much the responses impacted me on a personal level.

I just didn’t anticipate that all this would have a deep and profound impact on me emotionally.

Your surge of support is encouraging, exciting, inspiring, overwhelming, humbling and even a bit scary.

And for the first time in a long time, I got REALLY excited about something new. But in the midst of the range of emotions WE WERE ALL feeling about this, I never felt intimidated.

Back when all of the responses started pouring in, I never felt intimidated

How I came to feel intimidated…

A few weeks ago I asked everyone interested in “Finally, An IEP for Me!” to fill out a survey.

Again I received detailed, lengthy, thoughtful, and amazing responses.

It was looking at these survey responses that intimidated me. Looking at these responses helped me realize the immensity of what we’re about to do. I got intimidated because I’ve never found anything like what we’re about to do. Anywhere. I don’t think it exists.

So there’s no rule book, etc.

You said you wanted:

  • Support, Help, and a Caring Circle in which to Explore Options
  • Help, Support and Hope in Confronting a Challenging Transition
  • To Let Go of Limiting Beliefs, Fears and Worries
  • To Give Voice to your Unspoken Dreams
  • To Gain Clarity, Collaboration and Support for your Direction and Actions
  • To Be Given a Proven Step by Step formula to launch your Individualized Empowerment Plan; and
  • To Step into the Life you Were Meant to Live as the Empowered Role Model!

And I understand, I think you need these things too.

Sandra, Tara and I know this isn’t going to be a little side project (although it will be really special).

We know that this is going to be so much bigger than we had originally imagined.

We realized that, if this is going to really REALLY work, then this is going to be more than just a fun project to think about and get excited about…

… That we’re going to need to cancel some plans, reorganize our schedules, and stop doing some of the other things we were doing for a few months.

It also hit us that our reputations will be on the line in a much bigger way than they have been before.

We also realize that creating the IEP for Me Group Coaching Program and pulling together the support and resources we will need won’t be dirt cheap to run or attend.

This will be an undertaking for all of us because we’re not just talking about a few blog posts here. We’re talking about a very comprehensive, all-inclusive program.

What It All Comes Down To…

  • We are 100% committed when it comes to this work.
  • It’s very important to us that you get the results you want and need; that you are truly empowered.
  • If we create “Finally, An IEP for Me!” we can’t go halfway with this. It’s all the way or not at all.
  • We want this program to be the first and highest quality group coaching program out there.
  • Hands down.

Here’s the part where we have a heart-to-heart:

Creating your own Individualized Empowerment Plan will be a journey and learning process for you.

But this journey will be a learning process for us as well.

We will need to hone in on what is most useful to you and how to best help and mentor you (so that you are empowered and truly create your own plan).

The very first participants of the IEP for Me Group Coaching Program (Exciting!)

When we OFFICIALLY open the doors for the “Finally, An IEP for Me!” Group Coaching Program , we want to have all the kinks worked out.

We want to ensure that our online curriculum has been carefully crafted from the ground up to meet your needs, that our online Oasis of Hope and Support works without a hitch (and that the contents, tools and resources are easily available), that the teleseminar service we use for the sessions meet all the needs that might crop up. And on and on and on.

When “Finally, An IEP for Me!” officially opens, we want to make sure that everything works as well as possible.

How Can You Benefit from This?

  • It will help you form a circle of support for this transition and for all the transitions to come;
  • It will put you on firm footing as you confront the myriad of responsibilities you face as a parent, educator or advocate of students with different abilities; and
  • You will be given an opportunity to acknowledge your abilities, to affirm your values, and to validate your goals.

We are considering offering an initial limited group access to “An IEP for Me!” for 50 % off the eventual price. These participants will make up the first Coaching Circle of “An IEP for Me!

Here’s the Trade-off…

As members of the first “An IEP for Me!” Coaching Circle, we’ll want extra feedback and participation from you. We want you to give us lots of input on the content and how it is delivered (live versus recorded for example), what content you would like us to spend more or less time on, and let us know as soon as possible if there is an online technological problem (and then be patient with us as we work to get it fixed quickly).

As part of the first “An IEP for Me!” Coaching Circle, we’ll want your thoughts on our online learning environment, we will want you to use the forum (Facebook group) consistently and often, to fill them with your questions and your successes. We’ll probably have additional surveys as well. In other words we’d like you to be sort of a virtual advisory “focus group” to help this program be the very best it can be.

And in Exchange for This, You’ll Get 50 % Off The Final Price

Oh yeah, you will also get special first “An IEP for Me!” Coaching Circle status which will come with its own perks, like discounts on future products, classes and seminars.

Are you POTENTIALLY interested in becoming one of the first 30?

At this point, we’re not looking for commitments (after all we haven’t even told you what the price will be nor have we decided it)…

… But if you’re *potentially* interested in becoming a part of the First “An IEP for Me!” Coaching Program”, then Email Me

Let me know that:

1. You’re interested, and

2. How much you think the program should cost when we officially open the doors (remember, you get 50% off this eventual price).

If we decide to proceed with this first An IEP for Me Coaching Program, then I will be sending you the details in the next few days.

Stay tuned,

Doreen

My Interview with Christine Arylo (Private download page)

Last week, I asked if you were interested in my free audio interview with Christine Arylo, Inspirational Catalyst and Queen of Self Love.

I didn’t want to spend time in creating a special webpage and preparing the audio if no one was interested in “Finally, An IEP for Me!” so I asked you to fill out a brief survey to let us know if you are seriously interested.

Well, between those of you on my Interest list, Tara’s list and Sandra’s list, LOTS of people are interested.

We were were both blown away and humble. When we first started talking about testing the waters to see if there was interest in “Finally, An IEP for Me!” group coaching program, we had no idea that there would be so much excitement.

Anyway… I promised to send you this marvelous audio interview I did with Christine Arylo.

So here it is. Free.

LINK HERE

(Please don’t share this link with anyone, it’s only for those of you on my interest list). I have been encouraged to sell this but I said that it would be free and that’s that.

At least for now, we are still considering creating the “An IEP for Me!” group coaching program. The topic can sometimes seem endless!

After you’ve listened to the audio interview, please leave a comment below or e-mail me through the contact page and let me know what you think.

I LOVE receiving your feedback.

With much appreciation,
Doreen

I’m working lots of hours to make all of this come together and they have been so supportive. Thank YOU!

As I write this post, Sandra, Tara and I are getting the 2 part Webinar ready for delivery and hope you will join us when we launch “If Mama Ain’t Transitioning, Ain’t Nobody Transitioning” in early April.  It will give you a great idea of what you can expect to get in participating in our “Finally, An IEP for Me!” group coaching program.

In preparing for these upcoming events, I looked at my past work and came across a wonderful audio interview that I did with Christine Arylo from DareYouToLive.com.  It was very well received and I was encouraged to sell it again but since (A) I love giving things away, and (B) it’s a way to thank you for all the great feedback you’ve given me and (C) I really think this will help you… I have decided to give it away.

At least for now. I may include it in an official coaching program curriculum in the future… I haven’t decided yet. So…

Here’s What I’d LOVE For You To Do:

If you are really serious about developing your own Individualized Empowerment Plan and be coached by Sandra, Tara and me then…I’d really, from the bottom of my heart, appreciate it if you click on this link and fill out this three question survey. It will take 3 minutes. The first question is: “what free product about personal empowerment would you LOVE for us to create for you?”

I want to hear exactly what YOU want. And as a “thank you” you’ll get my interview with Christine Arylo from DareYouToLive.com for free.  It’s that simple.

Anyway, I’d be so happy and full of gratitude if you’d click here and fill out my short survey.

With much appreciation,
Doreen

The FINAL Call (Update on An IEP for Me)

Hello, I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend…

We’ve been having fun with all the St. Patrick’s Day Festivities.  Sandra and Robert enjoyed seeing childhood chums and John and I were delighted to see our long time friends once again!

I love to celebrate any day! :)

Anyway, here’s the latest on An IEP for Me!
(Here’s the last blog post, in case you missed it)

On Thursday, I sent out an email asking if you were interested in listening in on a complimentary 2 part Webinar “If Mama Ain’t Transitioning, Ain’t Nobody Transitioning” as a preview to the Group Coaching Program “An IEP for Me!” that Sandra, Tara and I are thinking of doing together.

We were trying to gauge the interest so we could determine if we should move forward on it.

Well, We’ve had a lot of interest.

So we’re going to go ahead and do the webinar plus add another bonus audio. If you’re on the interest list, you’ll be getting that on Wednesday.

The Final Call

Starting tomorrow only people on the “IEP For Me Interest List” will receive insider information on our upcoming IEP for Me Group Coaching Program and be invited to our free webinar “If Mama Ain’t Transitioning, Ain’t Nobody Transitioning”.

(Some people on my email list are only here to receive updates, news and interviews from the Oasis of Hope and Support and aren’t interested in coaching, so I want to be considerate of them and make sure that they don’t get bombarded with information they don’t want or need.)

So if you want to get access to the Webinar, “If Mama Ain’t Transitioning, Ain’t Nobody Transitioning” and all the good stuff we’ve got coming your way, I highly suggest you enter your email address below to join the “IEP For Me Interest List.”

No Spam Promise: We will never share your information.

That’s it for now.

I’m off to relax for the rest of the weekend!

But don’t worry – if you’re on the “Interest List” I’ll be hooking you up with lots of great help and information…

…and if you’re not potentially interested in “An IEP for Me!” (and aren’t on the list) then, starting next week, you’ll continue to receive our usual information, resources and interviews. And emails about “An IEP for Me!” will die down.

Have a great weekend and I’ll see you around the Oasis of Hope and Support!

With much appreciation,
Doreen
